Communicating in Community

Thank you for your responses to the previous post, Fragmented Beauty.

If any of you have a story you’d like to share, please feel free to send me an e-mail, by clicking “CONTACT” at the top of the blog. Should you run into any problems there, leave a comment in this blog post, or any of them, and we’ll figure it out together.

I’d like to build community, here.

I know, it feels awkward, strange, and distant. It’s the internet, for crying out loud. But, I want to put out there that this is a place to start. We can build trust here.

And, trust and community begin with honesty, vulnerability, transparency, and coming as you are. I’ve not presented a polished, manicured, and air-brushed beauty to you. I started this intimacy by coming as I am, as fragmented beauty, an imperfect being, and a work in progress.

I’d like to hear what you have to say.

The story is yours.

Anything you share with me stays between us, you and me.

There maybe any number of reasons you might want to share your story…

  • you resonate with something that has been said.
  • a piece from your life has been withheld too long and needs to be released.
  • you want to help or encourage others through what you’ve experienced or learned.
  • something else.

And, stories can be shared in any number of ways, not just words.

Through pictures.

Whatever medium works easiest for you.

I’d love to hear from you.

I’m waiting with eager anticipation.
