A man from a young age appreciated and loved art. And, after a first date, he fell in love with an artist, who ultimately became his wife.
John Madden learned about art and used his business savvy and wealth to cultivate and grow the presence of art that anyone and everyone in the community could see and enjoy.
Yesterday, by the invitation and introduction of a dear friend, I got to experience and relish in the generous sharing of this art.
Some of it is on display in his museum of art.

The Madden Museum of Art is at Palazzo Verdi at Fiddler’s Green, in Greenwood Village.
Outside Palazzo Verdi were these delightful creatures.

Impressed? No? Here’s a close up:

Also outside was this interesting treat.

Inside Palazzo Verdi’s entrance didn’t disappoint.

And, art is integrated with architecture.
This is Tuscany Plaza, finished in 1985, using travertine marble from Tivoli, Italy.
The outside included interesting art.

In the middle of Tuscany Plaza was this huge interesting star.
