As a writer, I’m still learning to provide enough details in a setting so the reader can easily join the protagonist wherever she or he is.
One way I practice this is to be mindful of my surroundings and notice what is around me.
The more details I notice, the better.
Colors, particularly ones that emanate bold or bright hues, catch my eye.
Flowers exhibit that, and I’m drawn to how they reflect color and textures.
Today, I captured some of these beauties at Denver Botanical Gardens.
