Autumn Snow in Colorado

Yesterday’s high was in the upper 60s. Today’s was 28 degrees (Fahrenheit), with snow, beginning with sleet late last night.

That schizophrenic weather’s pretty standard here in Colorado, starting in the autumn, continuing through the winter, and going all the way to the end of spring.

What I’m not used to is, driving on ice, before the snow plows hit the road. Skidding isn’t exactly my cup of tea. The very thought of it makes me a nervous wreck. However, travel cannot be avoided.

I’d like to share some of the beauty from today’s excursion.
