Savannah, at The Perfect Petal

What a gorgeous bloom. I had never seen anything like it. Savannah told me it’s a rose bred from two different species.

I’m curious about and desiring to meet new people, not just because I’m a writer but I want to become better acquainted with community. What better way than to strike up conversation?

What about Savannah?

I know more than one individual with that name.

I’m speaking of this gal. In this photograph.

Savannah finished her studies and degree in interior design recently. She loves helping others arrange spaces to let individuality and particular personality shine. That sounds pretty cool.

After she completed school, she looked for work. The Perfect Petal, which she told me has two locations, seemed interesting to her and she decided to apply.

She seemed to know much about different kinds of flowers and how to care for them, and she’s excited to learn more. She was also candid about which sorts are harder to tend.

I love that she gets to create flower arrangements.
