I won’t lie. Life during the pandemic has been a bit stressful, to say the least. So I thought, why not share some things I’m thankful for these days. Thirteen seems a good number. So, here they are, in no particular order:
- My son noticing and comforting me when I’ve been sad.
- My third daughter’s many hugs.
- My kiddos inspiring me to cook delicious meals, like today’s pizza.
- Today’s shrimp and andouille jambalaya.
- My chocolate flavor showcased on Temper’s Instagram page.
- Monday’s snow.
- Being asked by my second-born to go outside and play in the snow.
- More headache-free moments recently.
- Visiting with friends.
- Love all around me.
- The location for orchestra recordings (for two of my kiddos) changing to a familiar place.
- People enjoying my photographs.
- Being silly and laughing.
Don’t you love how intentional gratitude helps us appreciate the little things others might not? Thank you, Lily.
